Arriving in Buenos Aires
From Ministro Pistarini (Ezeiza) International Airport:
Most of you will arrive into Ezeiza airport, which is located about 45 minutes outside of the city of Buenos Aires. After going through immigrations and customs, you basically have two options for getting into the city. The first is to take a shuttle bus, which will drop you off somewhere in the city center, where you can take a smaller bus to where you are staying. While this may be a bit more cost effective, the easier option is to arrange a remis taxi. When you exit customs, there will be a few stands where people are yelling at you, asking you if you need a car. Go to the one called Manuel Tienda León. It’s a reliable company that we always use. You pay at their desk, then they assign you a driver who will take you directly to the address where you are staying. To go from the airport to Palermo will cost you around $50.
It is not recommended that you take a taxi from the airport. It is much better and more reliable to take a remis.
From Jorge Newbery Airport (Aeroparque):
It is unlikely that you will fly into this airport unless you transferred somewhere along the way. If you fly here, however, you have lucked out. This airport is right in the city limits. If you arrive here, it’s best just to take a taxi from outside the arrivals hall.
